Wakefield Civic Society seeks nominations for 2016 Design Awards
The Society is again seeking nominations for its annual Design Awards. Nominations can be for building and environmental projects that were completed in 2015.

As part of our contribution to the annual Festival of Food Drink and Rhubarb in February, the Society is offering the opportunity to learn something of Wakefield's history and architecture through a talk and guided walk on Friday afternoon, 19th February, starting at 1.00 pm.

Wakefield will be hosting the annual Food Drink and Rhubarb Festival over three days from 19th to 21st February and the Society will be making its own contribution to the programme. Join us for this special guided tour of two of Wakefield's key civic buildings on Friday morning, from 10.30 until 12 noon.
