As part of the Society's 50th anniversary programme, we have arranged a special screening of the classic 1960s film, This Sporting Life. The film will be shown at the Theatre Royal Wakefield on Monday evening, 22nd September, at 7.30. Tickets are available from the Theatre box office or from the Society.

Special Screening of Kes - Wakefield Theatre Royal

In association with Theatre Royal Wakefield, we are delighted to invite you to a special screening of the film Kes to be shown as part of a wider research project being conducted into Cultural Memory and Cinema-going in the 1960s by researchers from University College London.

The film starts at 7.00 pm and tickets can be booked through Theatre Royal Wakefield at £6 or £4 for concessions.
