Tour of Wakefield Town Hall and County Hall

If you're visiting Wakefield for the Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb, be sure to book your tickets for this fascinating tour of Wakefield's principal civic buildings.

Meeting at the Town Hall for a short talk starting at 4pm, the tour will include a visit to see the main public rooms inside the County Hall before returning to the Town Hall. The combined tour will end at around 6pm.

The tour will be led by Kevin Trickett MBE, President of the Society. There is no cost to take part and the tour is open to all.

Although there are lifts in each building, not all parts of the Town Hall are accessible for wheelchair users.

(Please note that access to some of the rooms in the Town Hall may be restricted because of other events taking place on Friday afternoon.)
