Look Up Wakefield Photo Exhibition by Helen Field

If you enjoy Wakefield Artwalk, do come along and see our new exhibition of photographs by local artist Helen Field. This exhibition runs every evening from 9th to 13th December from 5 to 9 pm.

Earlier this year, a phenomenon started on Twitter called ‘Look up Wakefield’ where members of the public were encouraged to submit photos of views of Wakefield taken by looking up above street level. One contributor was local artist Helen Field.

We invited Helen to consider putting on an exhibition of her work in our office at 19 King Street and she agreed. We have therefore arranged a special opening of our office from 5 to 9 pm over five nights from 9th to 13th December. These openings will be open to the general public along the lines of an Artwalk opening. We hope you will be able to call in and see us. There is no need to book for this – just turn up.
