Wakefield Civic Society Guided Walk including Theatre Royal

This is the second of our Heritage Open Days guided walks and will follow a similar format to the one on Friday, 13th September (so don't book both!) but with a visit to the Theatre Royal rather than the Town and County Halls.

Meeting at the Society's offices at 19 King Street at 10.30 am, there will be a short illustrated presentation on the history of the city and its buildings. The walk will then begin at approximately 11.00 am and will include the visit to the theatre before ending up at the Orangery at around 2.00 pm where there will be an opportunity to visit A Maze for Yorkshire and to purchase refreshments in the garden café.
