Wakefield Civic Society Guided Walk

Meeting at the Society's offices at 19 King Street on Friday, 13th September at 1.00 pm, there will be a short illustrated presentation on the history of the city and its buildings. The walk will then begin, at a gentle pace, at approximately 1.30 pm and will include tours of the Town Hall and County Hall on Wood Street. The walk will end at the Orangery at around 4.00 pm where there will be a chance to see A Maze for Yorkshire and to purchase refreshments in the garden café.
